Social Media Request Form
Things to know before submitting a request:
Please submit social media requests two weeks in advance to allow for proper planning and capturing of content.
Social media content is prioritized based on importance and time sensitivity.
Ensure that your requested social media content will apply to at least 50% of Canvas attendees. For questions about this and how it applies to your content, contact Austin Pluskot.
Promotion for annual events, quarterly events, and “red letter” days will begin four weeks in advance.
Promotion for monthly events will begin two weeks in advance.
Promotion for upcoming series will begin two to four weeks in advance.
If you would like promotion for an event, consider beginning social media promotion two weeks from your event. Depending on importance and the social media schedule, additional posts for the week leading up to your event may be scheduled by the Creative Team.
If your requested content is submitted for a week when the schedule is full and is not time sensitive, your content will be moved to the following week.
The target number of posts per week to maximize engagement, maintain content quality, and minimize “white noise/post fatigue” is 7-9 posts per week.
Paid promotion will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
Departments will have two dedicated posts per month. These posts will be shared no matter what, without the need for a social request. If no request is submitted by the department, these posts will be generic.
